Normally, a wireless company advertising a BlackBerry that they are going to carry isn’t a big deal. Rogers, on the other hand, advertising the BlackBerry Pearl 8220, formerly known as the BlackBerry KickStart, isn’t exactly par for course as I can’t recall a time when a wireless carrier started to advertise a BlackBerry before RIM officially announces it.

Rumor has it that even though you are seeing Rogers BlackBerry Pearl 8220 advertising now, the device won’t be available until October 4th. I think it is probably safe to assume that RIM will announce it between now and then.

Rumors about a burnt orange BlackBerry Curve from T-Mobile called the BlackBerry Curve Sunset have been floating around for some time now. It was initially believed that the BlackBerry Curve Sunset was supposed to be released today, July 28th, however, some conflicting reports have the device coming out in a week on August 4th.

I’ve heard that some T-Mobile store employees have stated that they have the BlackBerry Curve Sunset is in stock in the stores but I have to wonder why the device wouldn’t be available at the start of business is it is indeed going to be available for sale today.

One thing we know for sure is that time will definitely tell.

Lehman Brothers analyst Jeff Kvaal says that strong sales from Verizon and expected strong sales from AT&T should drive strong sales in the second half of the year. Kvaal has raised is his fiscal 2009 EPS estimate from $3.61 to $3.85.

Here is little something something we had in our inbox this morning. Is the Sprint BlackBerry Curve going to ship tomorrow? There are so many rumors floating around right now that it is really hard to tell. All I know is that I knew that Sprint wouldn’t get the Curve before Verizon.

It looks like someone over at BGR had this in their inbox this morning as well. Maybe this rumor is true… I guess we will find out tomorrow…

This shot was a capture from a cached search showing that the Sprint Store (which at one point had June 1 as the release date) updated it’s site with ‘no date’ on it’s page, however, added additional pictures, etc., as if it was going to launch soon. This leads me to believe that Sprint was all set to release the Curve, but for reasons unknown (…eh hem…EVDO issues) have pulled back the launch and reset the date until mid-June. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more…
