Sandstone BlackBerry Pearl Pink Now Available

Remember that designer BlackBerry Pearl that we talked about last week? Well, it is called the Sandstone BlackBerry Pearl 8110 – Pink and it is now available on AT&T’s site.

The fact that the color is separate from the name leads me to believe that the their will be more Sandstone BlackBerry Pearls to come.

Rogers Is Advertising The BlackBerry Pearl 8220

Normally, a wireless company advertising a BlackBerry that they are going to carry isn’t a big deal. Rogers, on the other hand, advertising the BlackBerry Pearl 8220, formerly known as the BlackBerry KickStart, isn’t exactly par for course as I can’t recall a time when a wireless carrier started to advertise a BlackBerry before RIM officially announces it.

Rumor has it that even though you are seeing Rogers BlackBerry Pearl 8220 advertising now, the device won’t be available until October 4th. I think it is probably safe to assume that RIM will announce it between now and then.

BlackBerry Pearl 8120 Launches On Rogers

Research in Motion and Rogers today introduced that Wi-Fi enabled BlackBerry Pearl 8120 to customers in Canada. The 8120’s Wi-Fi capability will allow it to work with Rogers UMA service, Rogers Home Calling Zone.

More and more households are dropping their landlines and using their mobile devices 100% of the time. Being able to make calls via your internet connection can really cut down on your mobile bill especially for those who make a lot of calls during the day during peak hours.

AT&T Releases The BlackBerry Pearl 8120

We are still trying to get a few more details on this one, however, according to cNet’s Crave, AT&T, not T-Mobile is the first U.S. based carrier to get the Wi-Fi enabled BlackBerry Curve 8120.

In addition to the the Wi-Fi, the BlackBerry 8120 includes a 2.0 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities and a better web browser. The device will be available today through AT&T business channels starting at $199.99 with a two-year service plan.

Alltel Now Offering A Red BlackBerry Pearl 8130

When it comes to CDMA wireless carriers in the United States we often forget about Alltel. They usually come out with whatever Verizon and Sprint come out with a month or so later. We can’t say that about the Red BlackBerry Pearl, however.

The BlackBerry Pearl 8130 Red is now available on Alltel’s site. Looks like Alltel, like everyone else, wants to take advantage of the Valentine’s Day rush…

The Pink Verizon BlackBerry Pearl Hits Shelves Tomorrow

It has been about two and a half weeks since the Pink BlackBerry Pearl teaser hit Verizon’s Next site, but, for those of you that have been waiting, the wait is almost over.

According to a Research in Motion press release the Pink Verizon BlackBerry Pearl will be available online as well as hit store shelves tomorrow. The Pink Pearl will run $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new 2-year agreement. If you sign up for a really expensive voice and data plan, you could qualify for an additional $100 credit bringing the cost down to under $100

Grameenphone Introduces BlackBerry To Bangladesh

Grameenphone Ltd. and Research In Motion yesterday announced the launch of the BlackBerry wireless solution to business users in Bangladesh.

Grameenphone is the first company to offer BlackBerry service Bangladesh and will start of offering the BlackBerry 8700 and BlackBerry Pearl along with BES and BIS service.

Anders Jensen, CEO at Grameenphone said: “The BlackBerry platform is the gold standard in mobility for business users around the world. We are proud to be the first mobile operator launching the BlackBerry platform in Bangladesh, bringing in the next level of global connectivity for businesses.”

Red Sprint BlackBerry Pearl

Although Sprint nor Research in Motion has announced it as of yet, a red Sprint BlackBerry Pearl 8130 has been spotted for sale on Amazon.

I guess that Sprint didn’t want to be outdone by Verizon who just announced their Pink BlackBerry Pearl the other day.

BlackBerry Pearl 8120 Now Available On SunCom

The Wi-Fi bearing BlackBerry Pearl 8120, you know, the one supposed to make it’s U.S. debut on T-Mobile Feb. 18th, actually just came out on SunCom, which just happened to be bought by T-Mobile the other day.

There is no doubt that T-Mobile knew that SunCom was going to release the 8120 before them. “How could T-Mobile let that happen?”, you might ask. Well, IntoMobile has a great theory on that…

The parent company (T-Mobile) still has boatloads of current-generation BlackBerry 8100 Pearl inventory to clear out before they launch the WiFi-enabled version.

Anywho… If you live on one of a few southern states, Peurto Rico, or the Virgin Islands and you want to get your hands on the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 before mid February, give SunCom a call.
