John Mayer Ditches The BlackBerry Bold… Goes Black To The Curve

Remember a little over a month ago John Mayer was able to get his hands on a BlackBerry Bold?

Well, it would appear that he has switched back to a BlackBerry Curve.

I wonder what made him change?

Rogers Introduces The Pink BlackBerry Curve 8310

We’ve just picked up from BBSync that Rogers has recently introduced a pink BlackBerry Curve 8310.

The price of the pink BlackBerry Curve could be as low as $199.99 with three-year plan. With the popularity of the pink BlackBerry Pearl, we are sure that it won’t be long before the pink BlackBerry Curve starts showing up on carriers south of the border.

Verizon BlackBerry Curve Or BlackBerry Thunder? Which One Do You Want?

I don’t imagine that Research in Motion or Verizon are too happy that news about the upcoming touchscreen only BlackBerry Thunder has been leaked out.

Verizon has just released the BlackBerry Curve 8330, one of the most highly anticipated BlackBerrys ever, and less than a week week later very credible leaks about arguably the most consumer oriented BlackBerry device to date, intended, in my opinion, to compete directly against the iPhone, come out stating that the BlackBerry Thunder may be just a few months away.

How will the leaked news about the BlackBerry Thunder affect sales of the Verizon BlackBerry Curve?

Don’t get me wrong… I think that the sales of the Verizon BlackBerry Curve will do incredibly well. I can’t help but wonder, however, if there there will be a noticeable percentage of BlackBerry toting Verizon subscribers that will wait until the BlackBerry Thunder comes out instead of moving to a BlackBerry Curve now.

Verizon subscribers have waited for over a year to get the BlackBerry Curve. I’d be willing to bet that quite a few would be willing to wait a few more months for the BlackBerry Thunder.

Which one do you want?

Since When Did The Verizon BlackBerry Curve Get a Touchscreen?

Just to be clear and to cut down on confusion up front, the Verizon BlackBerry Curve does not have a touch screen. It just appears that the copywriters over in the Verizon marketing department aren’t aware of this fact.

Credit on this find goes to CrackBerry.com reader Will who found this gem right on Verizon’s site. As I write this post the discrepancy is still live, however, we did a full screen grab after the jump assuming that Verizon will eventually correct their mistake.

Is Tomorrow The Day For the Sprint BlackBery Curve?

Here is little something something we had in our inbox this morning. Is the Sprint BlackBerry Curve going to ship tomorrow? There are so many rumors floating around right now that it is really hard to tell. All I know is that I knew that Sprint wouldn’t get the Curve before Verizon.

It looks like someone over at BGR had this in their inbox this morning as well. Maybe this rumor is true… I guess we will find out tomorrow…

Verizon BlackBerry Curve Ships Friday

Although we are hearing numerous rumors that some Verizon subscribers have already ordered their Curve, the Verizon BlackBerry Curve 8330 will officially be available this Friday, May 9th via B2B, over the phone, and on the web. It will be available through all channels a week from today, Monday, May 12th.

That is just in time for the kick off of WES, which is pretty much when we suspected the device to available many, many months ago.
