
The popular BlackBerry internet radio client, Pandora Radio, has been updated to version 1.1.2 and now works on the BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Storm2.
The version on BlackBerry App World hasn’t been updated with the new release, so, if you want to check it out, head over to www.pandora.com directly from your Storm or Storm2 BlackBerry Browser.

Google has updated Google Voice to version 0.1.6. As usual, they’ve provided not change log so we have no clue as to what the new version does. I just read on the Google Voice Blog that GV now works with your existing number, so, maybe the update has something to do with that. Can’t say for sure…
What I can say is that Google Voice is a heck of a service and you should check it out which you can do at http://m.google.com/voice.

Well, what do you know… Research in Motion has gone an released Facebook for BlackBerry 1.7, and, I have to say that it has some pretty nice new features:
- News Feed Support – The ability to set the News Feed as the landing page
- News Feed Filters – The ability to toggle between ‘News Feed, Status Updates, Photos & Links’
- Caching Improvements – The application uses the device memory more efficiently.
- Feed Pre-fetching – The user will not be required to wait while their Facebook Feeds are updated
- View Profile Menu Option – Clients may easily view their own profile by selecting ‘View my Profile’ from the menu. “
Now, if RIM would just add the ability for you to see a contacts friends and mutual friends as well as adding Facebook Chat functionality, possibly integrating it with BlackBerry Messenger or something, Facebook for BlackBerry would be one heck of an application.

Dictionary.com has released a free dictionary and thesaurus app for the BlackBerry that is now available OTA by texting BBAPP to 44636 or on BlackBerry App World.
The free Dictionary.com app for BlackBerry delivers trusted reference content from Dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com including more than 500,000 terms, definitions, and synonyms. The app also features phonetic and audio pronunciations, spelling suggestions and Dictionary.com’s popular Word of the Day that is enjoyed by millions of people.
Additionally, Dictionary.com app for BlackBerry allows integrates with the email app on your device so you can use it when you are composing a message. That alone makes it worth the download.

BlackBerry Messenger 5 is now officially available from Research in Motion. You can pick it up over on BlackBerry App World, or, download it OTA by visiting http://blackberry.com/messenger from your device.

I received an email this morning from BitStream letting me know that Bolt, a third party mobile web browser that works pretty well on the BlackBerry, is now out of Beta.

Well, what do you know… BlackBerry Messenger 5 will launch globally in just a couple of days on October 7th and it actually will be called BlackBerry Messenger 5.
