One of the biggest drawbacks to having a cameraphone is that most of the pictures that you take rarely ever make it beyond your mobile. This is the case even with the BlackBerry Pearl and BlackBerry Curve.
Fortunately, iTookThisOnMyPhone, a free BlackBerry application that will automatically upload pictures that you take on your BlackBerry Pearl or BlackBerry Curve to the iTookThisOnMyPhone photo sharing site. Simply take a picture with your CameraBerry and iTookThisOnMyPhone will handle the rest.
I am still waiting for Verizon to release their BlackBerry Pearl 8130 so I cannot really test iTookThisOnMyPhone out. If you, however, decide to give it a go., leave us a comment and tell us what you think.

Here is a free online BlackBerry ringtone generator that you can upload a song to and create a ringtone that you can download and play on your BlackBerry. The service, CellSea.com, isn’t just for making BlackBerry ringtones, as it supports the following formats:

It looks like TUNEUSIN.com, a free BlackBerry Ringtone site that we discovered a few weeks ago, has added many, many, more free BlackBerry Ringtones to their collection.
Free BlackBerry Ringtones, BlackBerry Ringtones, MP3 Ringtones, TUNEUSIN.com
An anonymous commenter left us a link to TuneUsIn.com, a site that claims to have free BlackBerry ringtone downloads. I cannot vouch for the copyrights on these ringtones and the about section of tuneusin.com is pretty light so download with caution.

I sure am glad that Russell Shaw over at BBHub keeps all over new BlackBerry software on Handango because MiniRingtone from Simprit is exactly what I have been looking for.
“MiniRingtone is an application that allows you to create your personalized ringtones from music files or CDs. You can choose your favorite audio (or even record your own), import to MiniRingtone, and make it as your handheld’s unique ringtone.”
Features include:
- Create your personalized ringtones from music files or CDs.
- Supported music file formats: mp3, wav and aiff.
- Direct import from CD track.
- Selection and combination of multiple audio selections from a music file or CD track.
- Click and drag to select multiple audio sections
- Saving of audio section selections to files for future use.
- Upload ringtone to server for handheld to download and save as the handheld’s ringtone.

So I am browsing through Handango as I often do and I come across an ad for Ringphonic by HDM which is a subscription based ringtone download service for the BlackBerry 71xx series devices. I glance over the Ringphonic page on Handango and I say to myself, “That’s not too bad. 8 ringtones for 9 or 10 bucks.” Then look a little closer and I see that it is 9 or 10 bucks per month for you to be able to download 8 ringtones a month.
Now, I am not knocking Ringphonic because this is one of the more popular BlackBerry downloads at over 38,000 and the user rating is 5 out of 5 stars. Just cannot for the life of my figure out why I would need a subscription for such a service. Are ringtone downloads for BlackBerry 71xx series devices in such demand that people are willing to sign up a monthly subscription to get them?
Eight ringtones a month indefinable seems a bit much to me. I am absolutely missing the point so I hope that someone can explain this one to me.
Do you know the one thing that is better than a BlackBerry Ringtone? A free BlackBerry Ringtone. If you have ever searched for BlackBerry Ringtones you know that it is rare to come across a site offering them for free. Well, Adam’s ADP Ringtones just happens to be one of those rare sites that you can download dozens of free BlackBerry Ringtones directly to your 710x series BlackBerry.
