T-Mobile Offically Announces The BlackBerry 8800

by Robb Dunewood on April 20, 2007 · 9 comments

T-Mobile has just officially announced the BlackBerry 8800 and it will launch, as previously rumored, next Monday on April 23rd.

The T-Mobile BlackBerry 8800 is pretty much the same as the version that first debuted on Cingular. T-Mobile, more or less, just customize their BlackBerry 8800 with their logo and the popular My Faves program that allows you to set 5 numbers that you can call at any time free of charge.

It is so damn expensive!!! It’s just not fair! It is like 350 dollars for tmobile customers to upgrade!

It does NOT have GPS, T-mobile does not list the GPS feature, like Cingular or other carriers. Does any one have information on this?

I am a T-Mobile employee, and I have heard that the 8800 DOES have GPS. Something that even the employees are looking extremely forward to. I want one….
