Earlier today, the second of five NTP patents that BlackBerry maker Research in Motion was found guilty of infringing upon has been rejected for the second (still not final) time by the U.S. Patents and Trademark Office. The rejection further complicates an already long running court battle where Research in Motion was found guilty of patent infringement on patents held by Virginia based holding firm NTP that look more and more like they should have never been issued in the first place.
