my 8130 on Verizon has been going off the hook all day today so it looks like it didn’t really effect my area of Alabama.

Neither my wife or myself (8130 and 8830 respectfully) have experienced any down time today on our Verizon Network here in Idaho…

as long as I can SMS and make calls – I’m good. To me, the rest is a luxury.

…then again I don’t use mine for anything remotely work related…

I just got my Blackberry 8820 5 days ago and didn’t have a clue as to the problem and what’s pissy is neither did Rim Blackberry Support, they kept me on hold for over an hour. Hmmmm…. adding insult to my injury. To bad they just couldn’t tell me the system was down. 🙁

Roaming in Latvia with my US BBerry 8820 have not had service all day, called AT&T but this did not address my problem, saved by use of WiFi connection on the 8820.

I actually DID have outages (well, 30 minute delays) all morning yesterday (Sprint/Cincinnati)

Was annoying, but not the end of the world.
