March 27, 2012 by Robb Dunewood 3 Comments

What would you like to know when it comes to application development for the BlackBerry and BlackBerry PlayBook?

Alec Saunders, VP of Developer Relations at Research in Motion, will be our special guest on the SMRpodcast one week from today on April 3rd, and, we wanted to give you the opportunity to ask Alec any questions that you might have.

If there is something about Research in Motion that you’d like to know, leave us a comment and we will see if we can’t work your question into our conversation with Alec Saunders.

See if you can get a definitive answer on if you can upgrade a BlackBerry Torch 9860 to BlackBerry 10 when it comes out.

I really want a new Torch when my contract is up in April, but, don’t want to get locked into a new contract if I can’t upgrade to BlackBerry 10 later this year.

Ed, I can answer this one.  NO.  THey have already stated BB 7 devices will not be upgradeable to BB 10.

That’s one way for them to increase there sliding market share.
