The Arkon Portable Fold-up stand is one of the best BlackBerry Playbook accessories for under $15. The BlackBerry PlayBook is awesome for watching videos despite the 7″ size, and the Arkon Portable Stand is perfect for propping up your media player. The stand is small, but it supports a 4″ – 10 inch device, but the sweet spot is a BlackBerry PlayBook.

One thing I like about the Arkon stand is it does not slide around when you place it on an airplane tray. The material on the bottom of the stand give enough grip so you device remains safe. The PlayBook can rest in the stand in portrait or landscape and be fully supported.

Once folded the Arkon Stand is about 1” x 1” x 7”, so it takes up almost no space in a travel bag. Another thing I like about the Arkon stand is you can change the Playbook while in the stand since the PlayBook will change orientation as you can see in the image above.

If you are a classic web bargain shopper then finding a replacement battery door cover for the BlackBerry Bold 9700 for $1.68 is a decent deal. I recently saw a friend with duct tape on his blackberry to keep the battery in-place after the cover was lost. Like you I struggle to understand why anyone would consider duct tape on a smartphone a viable solution. Regardless we found a replacement Battery cover for $1.68 + $4.69 shipping. Despite the higher shipping cost the total cost was lower than other places.

This might be over kill for your BlackBerry, but Lexar has introduced a 32GB Class 10 High Speed Mobile microSDHC card at CES. I have been using a 8 GB Class 6 microSD card and can say I noticed the performance increase over having a 16 GB class 2 microSD card. I guess I like the idea of having a larger card so I can download large files from DropBox; keep more episodes in PodTrapper; or download more Audible books; and never have to worry about storage.

I know I frequently clean up podcasts, pictures, and videos to make space on my current card.

We just saw a great deal on Amazon.com where you can get an OEM 3.5mm Stero Wired Headset for BlackBerry for just $2.90, shipping included.  If I had to venture I’d bet that the BlackBerry accessory that most BlackBerry users have lost  are the set of wired headsets that came with the device.  Personally, I have lost or broken 3 or 4 pair myself.  This is one heck of a deal seeing how these things usually cost 10 bucks or more.
