Today is the day that we have been waiting for since we first heard that CDMA BlackBerry 8100 development lagged behind the GSM version.
Nothing is official yet, but, BGR is reporting that the the BlackBerry 8130 will be released on Verizon sometime in November.
The SureType CameraBerry that looks like it could be the BlackBerry Pearl 2 will have 1xEvDO, a 2 megapixel camera with flash, stereo Bluetooth, and a standard 3.5mm headset Jack.
I cannot wait…

The word on the street is that the AT&T BlackBerry 8820 is set to be released next month on September 15th.
The BlackBerry 8820 is the Wi-Fi enabled cousin of the BlackBerry 8800 and there is also a rumor out stating that the Wi-Fi is locked unless the subscriber hooks up a data plan.

It seems lately like we have been getting more and more BlackBerry questions in the ole RIMarkable inbox so we thought that we would start posting some of them to the front page to let the BlackBerry faithful have a stab at them.

Sage Research, the technology arm of Boston-based market-research firm Chadwick Martin Bailey, has released a survey data collected from hundreds of IT decision-makers at companies of over 1000 employees and the results indicate that the BlackBerry is clearly the PDA of choice.
“BlackBerry devices are “by far the preferred handset manufacturer among survey respondents.”
The survey also shows that the BlackBerry and other smartphones are not widspread beyond executives, sales staff, and IT workers.
I think that this means that Research in Motion has a lot of room to grow in the consumer and prosumer markets and it would appear that they are off to a good start with the BlackBerry Pearl and BlackBerry Curve.
