Steve St. Pierre from BlackBerry Cool was poking around on Flickr and found a shot of a Vodafone branded BlackBerry 8300. We heard in our comments today that the T-Mobile BlackBerry 8300 would be available here in the States May 7th. It looks like it will be soon be available in the UK as well.

The FCC has just issued a $100,000 fine against Amp’d Mobile, the “pay as you go” MVNO aimed at the young adult market, for failing to protect consumers’ personal calling records from thieves.
Amp’d, who buys excess bandwidth on Verizon’s network is, is known to have phones and service that are “Cool as $#!+”. Looks like their protection of customer information is unsecure as $#!+ too.

BlackBerry maker, Research in Motion, will host a conference call and webcast next Wednesday, April 11th to announce preliminary fourth quarter and year-end fiscal 2007 results.
You can access the call by dialing 416-640-1907 or by logging on at www.rim.com/investors/events/index.shtml. A replay of the conference call will also be available at approximately 7 pm by dialing 416-640-1917 and entering passcode 21221682#. This replay will be available until midnight ET April 25, 2007.

It looks like the BlackBerry Pearl may head to Verizon and Sprint as soon as May 7th and this time I am not making it up.
According to Seeking Alpha, Merrill Lynch believes that potential launch of the BlackBerry Pearl on Verizon and Sprint is just over a month away. This is legitimate news as compared to the BlackBerry April Fools prank that I played on RIMarkable readers April 1st.
