Engadget’s Peter Rojas Got A BlackBerry Massage

Peter Rojas from Engadget, “took one for the team“, as he put it, getting one of those BlackBerry Massages.

I wanted to be good and ready for my massage, so I made sure to use my Treo a ton to try and get my thumbs nice and sore (I felt a little dishonest being a Treo user going to get a “BlackBerry” massage, but I got over that really quickly).

Rojas said that the massage wasn’t bad at all, however, wouldn’t recommend going out of your way just to get one.

Why Does Gmail Access Your BlackBerry Phone Logs?

Have you ever noticed that if you install Gmail for mobile devices on your BlackBerry it tries to access your BlackBerry’s phone logs?

Acer… The Next Company to Fail Miserably At Crushing The BlackBerry

Taiwanese computer manufacturer Acer has decided to get into the smartphone game and has its sights squarely aimed at Research in Motion’s BlackBerry.

At what point will these companies understand that you can’t keep doing the same thing expecting to get a different result? Mark my words. Unless MS completely rewrites Windows Mobile from the ground up, no Windows Mobile powered smartphone will ever compete with the BlackBerry.

I guess Acer thinks that they will get lucky.

And You Thought The BlackBerry Status Updates Were Over

I bet that you thought that when Jim Balsillie, co-CEO of Research in Motion, stepped down as the chairman of the board all of the status updates, re-bean counting, and the reviewing of RIM’s stock option granting practices by the Special Committee of RIM’s Board of Directors was over.
