Rumor has it that Research in Motion has wisely decided to discontinue the individual letter designations for the same model BlackBerry devices on different carriers and networks. Instead of BlackBerry 8100c, g, t, e, i, v, and any letter that I have forgotten that is currently used, we will just have the BlackBerry 8100.

The day that many of us have been waiting for, and some, quite honestly, have been cursing, is finally here. We have pictures of the CameraBerry and as Russell Shaw from BBHub predicted, it will be called the BlackBerry 8100.

Jesse D’Aguanno, a security consultant with Praetorian Global, supposedly has developed hack to exploit the trust relationship between a BlackBerry and a company’s internal server which allows the data connection between the two to be compromised.
